For parents, billing starts after your free trial ends. For the Parent + Highlights plan, we're still in early access — you'll be notified before billing begins and can lock in founding member pricing. For gyms, monthly billing starts once your account is active.

Yes. The Parent plan follows athletes, not gym affiliations. You can follow athletes from any gym that competes in events MatPulse covers — and that's most major US competitions. Gym plans include parent distribution so coaches can invite families directly.

MatPulse currently supports the IASF scoring system. We're building support for additional systems. The Score Sheet Decoder is designed to help parents understand IASF sheets — and we'll add other formats as they're adopted at the competitions families actually attend.

Yes. Our Score Sheet Decoder already covers the IASF 2027 breakdown with the new D/C/T weighting and updated difficulty parameters. Our scoring feed will reflect the updated scoring categories when the 2027 season begins. We'll communicate any changes to parents and gyms before each season.

Yes. Parents can cancel monthly subscriptions at any time — you'll retain access through the end of your billing period. Annual plans are non-refundable after 14 days, but you can cancel future renewals anytime. Gym plans are month-to-month with no annual lock-in.

The Parent plan allows following unlimited athletes under a single account — so if you have multiple athletes in the same family, one account covers all of them. We don't currently offer a multi-account sibling discount, but it's on our radar. Contact us if you have a specific situation — we'll talk it through.
