The Summit is the premier end-of-season bid competition for Levels 1–4 all-star teams. Held at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports, qualification requires a bid earned at a qualifying event throughout the season.
The Summit 2026 took place May 1–3, 2026, at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
Teams earn a bid to The Summit by finishing in the top placements at a Summit-qualifying event during the season. Bids are awarded as "paid bids" (entry fee covered) or "at-large bids" (team pays entry).
The Summit covers Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4, plus specialty divisions for Tiny, Mini, Youth, Junior, and Senior age groups. Level 5–7 teams compete at The Cheerleading Worlds instead.
Scores are split into Difficulty (tumbling, stunts, pyramids), Technique/Execution (clean landings, synchronization), and Overall/Performance impression. The highest combined score wins the division.
The Summit streams on Varsity TV. For real-time scores the instant they post — no refresh lag — MatPulse sends them straight to your phone.
