The Cheerleading Worlds is the highest-level all-star competition in the world. Only the top bid-earning teams at Levels 5–7 earn the right to compete. A Worlds championship ring is the pinnacle of all-star cheer.
The Cheerleading Worlds 2026 took place April 25–27, 2026, at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
Teams earn a Worlds bid at USASF-sanctioned qualifying events. Bids are highly competitive — only the top finishers receive them. There are both paid bids and at-large bids, but at-large placement at Worlds is limited.
Worlds features Level 5, 6, and 7 divisions, including Senior Elite, International Open, and specialty coed categories. It is strictly for the highest-skill teams in the sport.
Worlds uses a two-panel judging system: a Skills panel scores difficulty and execution of stunts, pyramids, tosses, and tumbling; a Performance panel scores choreography, synchronization, and overall impression. Deductions apply for safety violations.
Worlds streams on Varsity TV. For real-time score updates as they happen — not delayed highlight packages — MatPulse delivers them to your phone instantly.
